About Lucy Traynor

After leaving Ulster University I led and managed large regional teams across the UK in PLCs such as, The Body Shop, Etam and Habitat but after almost 20 years travelling and regularly away from home it was time for a change.  I side-stepped into HR management in a local family-run firm and then moved to the National Trust covering Northern Ireland and the North West of England.  After a further 6 years travelling I made the decision not to be an employee anymore and set up my own business.

I held Chair and Trustee positions in a number of charities over a 20-year period and have just completed my term as Chair of Citizens Advice, Belfast.

I hold a Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Executive & Personal Coaching and Primary Certificates in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Occupational & Organisational Stress Management and am a member of the Association for Coaching.

I qualified as an Executive and Personal Coach in 2013 and have been working with people since to bring about changes that will make them fulfilled and happy.  I love this job – seeing how people exceed their own expectations and become stronger and more confident.

My Values

My values really matter to me in my work and home life and they are:

Treat everyone with dignity and respect and always be sincere

Have good manners, they’re easily carried

Work hard with skill and courage

Keep things simple, honest and just

Show care and compassion

Think differently, think with imagination and vision

Strive for excellence not perfection

Do happy things and have fun
